What “Verified” means here

A verification badge is only worth what stands behind it. This page states exactly what we check before an agent is marked verified — and what we don't.

Every verified agent has passed these checks

  1. PRC license check. We look the agent up in the Professional Regulation Commission's license verification service and confirm the name matches, the license number matches, and the license is active — real estate practice in the Philippines legally requires this license (RA 9646).
  2. Accountable identity. The name on the badge is the name on the license. Salespersons must additionally be tied to a supervising licensed broker before their listings can go live.
  3. Listing permission on record. Every listing on Tahana has written permission from its owner-agent — we never scrape or copy inventory from anywhere.
  4. Recorded evidence, revocable status. Each verification is logged with its evidence and date. If a license expires or a problem surfaces, the badge is revoked immediately — status is checked live, not cached.

What the badge does NOT mean

Verification confirms the agent's professional license and their permission to publish — it is not a guarantee of any property's condition, title, or price, and it is not an endorsement of any transaction. Always verify documents independently before transacting. Tahana is a listing platform, not a brokerage, and is not a party to any transaction.
